The course is designed to: 

  1. Introduce students to research on the interactions between plants and animals.
  2. Provide an opportunity to undertake original research on animal-plant interactions

One Credits; One Meeting a week.

OVERVIEW OF LABORATORY OPTION
Students interested in an intensive exposure to specific animal-plant interactions can choose this one-credit option. Students, in consultation with the course instructors will select a question or hypothesis that they will address with independent research. The student will be required to submit a detailed outline of their experiment design. Once approved the student will proceed with his/her research. The student will be expected to write a paper describing the research conducted and make a ten minute presentation to the other students in the laboratory.
